Not so useful as a drawer, May 29, 2012 By Mommy Dear (Below Zero, Minnesota) - See all my reviews This review is from: Samsung WE357A0W (Kitchen) I knew I was paying too much when I bought the pedestals for my washer and dryer, but I was a willing victim. I no longer wanted to unload my washer while on bended knee AND woohoo, plus getting a nice place to stash my detergent. Well, I got half of the deal. The drawers don't allow you to store your detergent...they are simply not deep enough. Of course, I found this out the hard way. I put my detergent bottle in--very small bottle, closed it (no pushing or jamming) and was rewarded with a drawer that would no longer open. Yep, the bottle of detergent is now jammed inside the pedestal. No way to get it out except to take the washer off the pedestal, turn the pedestal on its side and hope the detergent will fall over so that the drawer can be reopened. Completely and totally ridiculous. I should measure my detergent bottles before I put them in the drawer? Thank goodness I don't have to do that with any of the other 100 drawers in my house.
