Great machine, sounds like R2-D2, May 5, 2011 By This review is from: 3.6 cu. ft. Capacity DOE Equivalent High-Efficiency Bravos X Top Load Washer White Have had this washing machine for two months now,and it has handled all types of loads without a problem. It's easy to use, and sounds like R2 with it's clicks, whirrs, and other sounds.
Clothes come out very clean and almost dry, and haven't had any problems with holes in laundry that I've had with standard agitator type washers. The noises takes a few days to get used to, as it doesn't operate like a traditional washer. All in all, my wife is thrilled with it, so I am too!

Capacity DOE Equivalent High-Efficiency Bravos X Top Load Washer White First of all my attempt to purchase this was a challenge. One national retailer had an excellent price but although not mentioned on the web site as such it was a WEB only deal and the starting price of $629 was actually $699 in the store. The additional special savings to reduce it to $535 only worked if you had their credit card although they said it would also work if you applied for one....that was a bait and switch as it came with no price guaranty. While I have purchased from this retailer often in the past this will be my last purchase. Dealing with the mafia would have been easier. I got the $629 price walking in the door at Lowes.
While I have only washed two loads they were both challenges and I am very happy with the results. To those who have criticized this washer in other reviews, one suggestion, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!

TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE IN REMOVING PET HAIR AND LINT, February 5, 2011 This review is from: 3.6 cu. ft. Capacity DOE Equivalent High-Efficiency Bravos X Top Load Washer White I do not own this particular model. I own the Model 600. Other than a few additional bells and whistles on my model, the two washers are pretty much identical, so I feel my warning comments regarding the washer I had the misfortune to purchase will be of use to someone considering purchasing this one.
This might be a great washer for someone who does not own pets, but if you have pets as I do (two cats), run from this thing like the plague! It has no clue how to remove pet hair from clothing.
My old washer had a strainer on top of the agitator that caught hair and lint as it was carried by the recycling water during the wash and rinse cycles. This thing has no way to remove pet hair and lint except to strain it through the clothing as it drains water at the end of each cycle. The result is that whatever pet fur and lint had been removed just settles back onto the clothing; the best it can do is redistribute the pet fur and lint. It's discouraging to have to... Read more
