CROOKS !!!!, February 24, 2012 By Sally T Croarkin (Kensington, MD United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Maytag MVWC200XW I purchased the maytag washer thinking it would be good quality. It is NOT!!!! A piece inside the drum began to peel off. Maytag arranged for a technician to come since it was still under warranty. Now they won't honor the warranty and pay for the service call. They are DISHONORABLE!!!! DO not buy Maytag ANYTHING!!

It is by far the worst washing machine I have ever owned. All of my other washing machines have been second hand and worked much better than this one
This machine takes at least an hour to wash any load, then it's up to the machine's computer to determine whether it will spin dry or not. It doesn't seem to matter whether it is a light load or a heavy load. Often it will not spin and I have to hang wring my clothes before I hang them out to dry.
Do not buy this machine. You will be sorry.

Because it was beyond the typical 1 year warranty Maytag would do little if anything for me financially. I bought it at Home Depot, but Sears came out repaired it and gave me a one year warranty on the whole machine. They were much better to me than Maytag. I would avoid any Maytag appliances. Customer service was inadequate and unhelpful.
