Great wash, so-so durability..., October 26, 2011 By This review is from: Electrolux : EWFLS70JTS 27 Front-Load Washer with 5.1 cu. ft. Capacity I own the set, matching dryer. Yes, it's very quiet, you can sleep next to it and it won't make a sound to wake you. The clothes always come out clean and very dry for less dryer time which helps to keep clothes looking new and in good condition. You also save on electricity. It's definitely a water saver, it uses only what it needs. The many settings are excellent for the many different needs we come across, comforters, baby clothes, delicates, etc. The machine does what they say it does! However it feels "cheap" for said brand and the price point. The liquid laundry compartment feels wobbly, (I tested others at the store & they felt the same), the latch to keep the door closed is plastic (and part of the door so if it breaks and you are not under warranty it's $100 dollars for that little latch). The doors don't close as smoothly, or even come open on the gentle push as smoothly. The buttons aren't as sturdy as I'd like them to be. I've had the machine 2 years, and I would have... Read more
